Naturopathic Medicine

Michael graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in June 2002. Having successfully completed the Naturopathic Physicians Licensing Exams(NPLEX) and Board Certification for the Province of Ontario, Michael is ready to make Brantford the home of his professional practice. Michael began as a student clinician at HOLISTIC HEALING ARTS and has joined our team of clinicians full time to serve Brantford and the surrounding communities. Prior to studies at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, Michael completed an Honours Science degree in Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University of Western Ontario and a teaching degree at Althouse College(UWO). After teaching Grade Eight for one semester, Michael decided to pursue his dream of becoming a Naturopathic Doctor. Michael is available to consult with you about any health concerns you may have. As a Naturopathic Doctor, he is trained in the areas of Clinical Nutrition, Botanical (Herbal) Medicine, Homeopathic Medicine, Acupuncture and Asian Medicine, Lifestyle Counselling and Physical Medicine. Health education and promotion, rehabilitative medicine, sports medicine, and longevity medicine are of personal interest. Michael is presently taking courses in Counseling Psychology at the University of Toronto and would like to integrate this education into his practise in the future.
